These tips were prompted by my concern for the amount of alcohol that is consumed on a social basis. It seems all celebrations or get to-gethers have to include the consumption of alcohol.
There are many who say that they know their limits and if consumed in moderation they are fine. But there are many who consume excessive amounts and are unable to control their intake. There are so many negatives about alcohol that frankly I do not know why it has to be consumed in the first place. But of course, mine may be an extreme reaction. However I have seen the devastation of alcoholism on health and family break ups. I have seen it ruin people in my own family as well as in the community in my role as a social worker.
