There has been so much in the news recently about the health benefits of Kale. I have purchased Kale due to the high recommendations. But I have always find it difficult to enjoy as it is rather tough. I have also tried making chips in the oven but I over-baked it and always wonder if I am not destroying all the health benefits due to the high heat of the oven.
I recently made a delicious salad with chick peas and Kale. But this time, I chopped it in a food processor and it was quite delicious. So for me that was the best way to prepare Kale, to finely chop it in a food processor.
Then the very next day, I see this article about the health benefits of 8 vegetables that are better than Kale. It was published in Care 2, by Katie Waldeck. I was so delighted to read that and will definitely be using the other vegetables much more. I thought you may like it too and decided to add it as my tips for March 2015.
